Jam Packed Bakery began with a fairly simple idea:

Make really good food from quality ingredients—and don't make it more complicated than it needs to be.

I'm drawn to the kinds of foods that make a kitchen feel welcoming: jars of fruit-filled jam, golden granola, warm biscuits, pancakes on a weekend morning, and pantry staples that make an ordinary meal a little more special.

For me, the kitchen has always been about more than cooking. It’s where people naturally gather—to talk about the day, share a meal, linger over something warm from the oven, and simply spend time together. And there’s something especially comforting about doing that around food someone actually took the time to make.

Jam Packed Bakery grew from that love of sharing homemade food along with my belief that convenience and quality don't have to be strangers to one another.

Small Batches, Made With Care

There’s something wonderfully reassuring about food made in small batches.

It allows me to pay attention to the details.

Are the pecans toasted enough? Does the jam actually taste like the fruit listed on the label? Is the cardamom noticeable without being overpowering? Does my baking mix produce something I would be happy to serve?

Those details matter to me.

The goal isn't to create the longest ingredient list or the most unusual flavor on the table.

It's to make something you'll want to buy again.

Ingredients Matter

I believe good ingredients speak for themselves.

That's why I keep ingredient lists simple and choose organic ingredients whenever they’re practical and reasonably available.

You'll find real fruit in the jams, granolas generously filled with nuts and fruit, and baking mixes designed to give you the convenience of a mix while still letting you put something on the table that feels homemade.

Whatever your food philosophy, none of it matters if the food doesn't taste good.

Flavor always matters.

Familiar—with a Little Something Extra

Many Jam Packed products begin with something familiar and add just enough of a twist to make it interesting.

Maple granola becomes Maple Pecan.

Cashew and date granola gets the warmth of cardamom.

Blueberry jam gets a bright touch of lime.

Sea salt might meet garlic and rosemary.

And simple sugar can become fragrant with lavender or lemon.

Nothing too fussy. And nothing strange just for the sake of being different.

Just familiar foods made a little more special.

Jam Packed Bakery is a Florida cottage food business based in Mount Dora and serving customers throughout the Central Florida community.

One of my favorite parts of being a cottage baker is getting out to markets and talking with people who share my love of good food. I get to meet the people who take my products home—and make things I hope they'll want to share with the people they love.

There’s something especially satisfying about hearing that a jar of jam disappeared in three days, that someone ate the granola straight from the bag, or that a baking mix made a busy Sunday morning easier.

Those are the moments that make Jam Packed Bakery especially meaningful to me.
